Grade 6 at the International School of Berne recently finished up an English unit about how poetry can express emotion. They wrote poems meant to make the reader experience a certain feeling, and read them aloud to students in the Early Learning Center and Grade 1.

Teacher Ms. Schmidt shares that "the younger students have learned about emotions this year, so we wanted to know if they could recognize the emotions we were trying to convey with our poetry. They did a pretty good job figuring it out!
