Library and Media Centre

The International School of Berne Library is a place where students have the opportunity to fully explore their International Baccalaureate programme, expand their imagination, delve into areas of personal interest, and develop the ability to think clearly, critically, and creatively about the resources they have chosen to read, hear or view.

We have an ever expanding collection of over 12,000 items including recent releases in children's and young adult fiction and non-fiction. We also have many more resources such as eBooks, newspapers and magazines electronically available through our online databases. ISBerne Library and Media Centre is the perfect place to discover something new.

We are open to all ISBerne students and their parents. Students enrolled in our After School English Classes may also check out materials from our collection.

After School English Classes

Our school offers weekly, in-person classes local children aged 5 to 15 to build their English language fluency and confidence. This unique programme is only open to students enrolled in the local public school system and not currently attending our school. Participants also gain access to our Library's English book collection.
