Arts
At the International School of Berne (ISBerne), we value the expression of our student's knowledge and emotions through a rich range of media. We feel all children have a capacity for creativity, and our variety of curricular and co-curricular offerings inspire all ages of students.
Visual Arts
The Visual Arts at ISBerne are embedded into teaching and learning from the first Early Learning Centre class to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Our painters, sculptors, and illustrators benefit from well-resourced Art Studios and a pottery kiln.
Theater Arts
Theatre Arts at ISBerne encourages discovery through experimentation, risk-taking, and the presentation of ideas to others. Theatre challenges students to think about their message, audience, and process. Our actors and performers benefit from the large stage in our modern Aula and dedicated theatre rooms.
Music
Music at ISBerne helps students learn the dispositions for a successful and fulfilled life: being part of a team, collaboration, shared responsibility, self-confidence, focus, and the importance of disciplined rehearsal and performance. It is part of the curriculum schoolwide and offered as an after school activity. Private instrument lessons are also available on campus for an additional fee.
Explore our Activities
At the International School of Berne (ISBerne), every student has the opportunity to explore a wide range of after school activities, from arts to sports, from dance to photography. We encourage students to try new things to discover who they want to be.
