Since 1961, Grades 6 – 10 at the International School of Berne (ISBerne) have been a vibrant, student-centered community. Following the International Baccalaureate® Middle Years Programme (MYP), our programme meets the unique needs of young adolescents as they develop the knowledge, understanding, attitudes, and skills necessary to participate actively and responsibly in a changing world. 
 
Grades 6 - 10 mark a crucial stage in your child's development, where they build, reflect, and strengthen the attitudes, values, and dispositions that will shape their future. Since most students seek more independence during these years, we create an environment that offers them more control over their experience, preparing them for the more complex life choices they will face.

The Open Morning is led by our Principals and includes a guided campus tour, classroom visits, and an opportunity to ask questions.

Join us for one of ISBerne’s most anticipated annual traditions—International Day! This vibrant community event celebrates the many cultures that make up our school through food, music, performances, and fun for all ages. The day begins with a colourful Parade of Nations at 11:00, followed by an afternoon of international food stands, student entertainment, games, and hands-on activities for children.
