Kickstart English! is an English learning camp for local children ages 7 - 15 and a vocational English course for ages 16 - 18. Our varied program provides kids and teenagers an immersive learning experience and parents the convenience and value they desire.

Immersive Activities

We strive to create a program that truly meets the needs of your family and your child. We want camp to be more than "just" fun, but also a place of rich learning and growth.

Each morning, students benefit from English language classes, and in the afternoons, they participate in an assortment of fun, age-appropriate team-building activities and outings. In addition, students will have plenty of opportunities to use their newly-acquired English vocabulary with new friends and teachers.

Levels for Every Age and Stage

Discover which level is the best fit for your child:

English 1

This group for younger students introduces the English language with various activities designed to increase language acquisition through action.

Ages: 7 - 9 years old
Grades: 1-3 or Swiss Harmos year 3h-5h in August 2024
Experience Level: No previous exposure to English is required.
Cost: CHF 500 per week, including all snacks, lunches, and activity fees.

English 2

This level provides your child with a head start in the English they will be learning or have already begun at their regular school.

Ages: 10 -1 2 years old
Grades: Grades 4-6 or Swiss Harmos years 6h-8h in August 2024
Experience Level: Previous exposure to English is helpful but not required for this level.
Cost: CHF 550 per week, including all snacks, lunches, and activity fees.

English 3

Vocational English

Vocational English is an intensive, immersive English course run concurrently with camp. Your child will gain confidence in spoken and written English and take classroom learning into social and professional environments. This class is perfect for teenagers who finished their obligatory schooling and are in or moving into the next stage of learning.

Ages: 16 - 18 years old
Experience Level: At this level, we recommend students have previously studied English.
Cost: CHF 650 per week, including all snacks, lunches, and activity fees.

My girls have been part of the Kickstart English Summer Camp for two days now. They are so happy!

Sophie came home today and spoke in English for the rest of the evening. Even though it was only the second day of the camp, she has already developed so much self-confidence in speaking English.
