Families wishing to attend the International School of Berne (ISBerne) have the possibility of receiving financial aid. The International School of Berne Foundation provides money for scholarships to attend our school, other private schools within Switzerland, and post-secondary institutions within and outside of Switzerland. The Foundation awards scholarships based on the student's academic promise and the family's financial need. Scholarships cover a portion of the tuition fees charged by the school of choice.
The aim of the ISBerne Foundation is the promotion of the musical, academic and scientific development of children, adolescents, and young adults whose families are not in a position to finance initial education at a school in the Mittelland Region or an institute of higher education in Switzerland or outside of Switzerland.
The Foundation is funded through land ownership along Mattenstrasse in Gümligen, the previous campus location of ISBerne.
In order to determine, whether you are eligible to apply for financial assistance and concerning the process, see the application instructions for scholarships and financial assistance on the ISBerne Foundation website. Applications shall be filed no later than 31st March of the respective school/academic year.
