Thank you for considering the International School of Berne (ISBerne). We are a small, private, day school providing personalised education in English to students aged 3 to 18. We value building meaningful connections with prospective families like yours. We want to learn about your needs and how we can support your child's growth. We recognize that selecting the right school is challenging, and we want to provide you with all the information you need to make an informed decision.
To start the process with your family, we invite you for a consultation or tour. These sessions provide insight into our academics, school community, and values. For your convenience, we host both in-person and online options either individually or in groups:
Tailored just for you — Arrange a personal meeting
At ISBerne, we place a high value on building personal relationships with our prospective families. We encourage you to schedule a personal visit or video call so we can begin our conversation. Your meeting may be scheduled on weekdays year-round, including during school breaks. We will make every effort to schedule a time convenient for you.
Schedule a in-person campus tour
Tours allow you to experience our campus and get a feel for our community. You will also meet with one of our Divisional Principals face-to-face to discuss your family's needs and have your questions answered.
Schedule a virtual consultation
If you currently live outside Switzerland or it is not possible for you to visit our campus in person, we offer the option of an online consultation via Google Meet with our Divisional Principals. Our Principal will discuss your child's individual needs in a free and non-binding consultation and answer any questions you may have.
Attend group events - Discover our school with other families
We warmly invite you and your family to join us at various group events on our campus throughout the 2024–2025 school year. These events offer a wonderful opportunity for local and international families to experience our vibrant community firsthand. Educators from other schools and business partners interested in learning more about our programmes are also encouraged to attend.

We warmly invite your family to join us for a special group tour of our Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten at the International School of Berne (ISBerne). Discover how our nurturing environment and world-class International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme can make a difference in your child's early years.
Led by our Primary Years Principal, Mr. Dowse, you'll explore our entire purpose-built campus, including visits to our Early Learning classrooms and Kindergarten facilities. You'll have the opportunity to view lessons in action and experience firsthand how we implement the IB framework in our teaching. Our instruction is in English, enriched with exposure to German during the school day, providing an immersive learning environment that benefits young learners.
We welcome both Swiss and international children aged 3 to 6, and flexible enrollment means your child can join our programmes at any time during the year. This is a family-friendly event—children are welcome to attend and participate in the experience. Feel free to ask questions throughout the tour or speak individually with our Principal and Admissions team at the end.
