Peter Pan POWER!

What A Show!

After months of rehearsal, the ISBerne Musical Theatre cast and crew presented a magical tale of the importance of courage, adventure and imagination in the 2018 production of Peter Pan!

See our photograph gallery on Flickr for pictures of the show.

Mr Wallace, Ms Sumrow and Mr Stuebi are incredibly proud of the cast, choir and crew for their professional dedication and performance in their respective roles.

We wish to thank the community for providing such outstanding audience support for both evenings of the performance.

It takes a community to build programmes and this production would not have been a success without the tireless volunteerism of parents, most notably Amy Hettenhausen and Maggie Torres: you are rockstars!

The team also wishes to thank Mr Brucks for his outstanding direction in stage design, as well as his design classes for working so hard to make the world Neverland come to life!

Finally, special thanks go out to Mr Sumrow who imparted tireless efforts to make our actors’ voices heard. That’s a wrap, folks!

Strike the set, see you next year!

Peter Pan Backstage!

If you were lucky enough to see ISBerne’s Peter Pan last week, you would have seen the fantastic sets!

The Grade 9 Design students conceptualized and built the set pieces for their final Design class project and although there were challenges in constructing such a complex set, the Grade 9 students showed outstanding self-management skills and did a lot of additional hours outside of school time.

Hats off to the Grade 9 Design students for helping make Peter Pan such a successful musical!

In addition, Natalie Albaugh designed the photo frame geofilter for her digital Design project, which was voted the best spring event geofilter concept by her fellow Grade 7 students. (What is a geofilter?) The design was produced as a real-life photo frame and used at the entrance to the show. Congratulations, Natalie!

Additional thanks to all those who helped with Technical Support/Coordination, Mics and Lighting, Backstage Costume and Properties Changing, Fitting, Hemming and Sizing of Costumes, Program, Posters, Promotion and T-Shirts, Properties and Art Design Support, Costumes & Props, coordination of the ASAs …and to the PTC for the generous donation for our new school sound system, Haxebase for select featured costumes, SV Restaurant for catering and all parents & staff for supporting rehearsal schedules!
