There is one student council in the elementary school and one in the secondary school.

The student councils meet regularly to discuss ways to improve student life in the school. This has included in the past discos, fun run participation, lunchtime videos, spirit days etc. They also look at school rules and suggest improvements to the facilities. Members of the student councils may serve as peer tutors working with younger students.

A staff representative is usually present at student council meetings. Students take it in turn to lead the meetings and to prepare an agenda beforehand.
