Students in grades 11 and 12 visited the International School of Lausanne (ISL) on Thursday 11th November. We teamed up with ISL’s diploma students to discuss some Theory of Knowledge issues. The guest speaker was Andy Fletcher who focused mainly on quantum mechanics, black holes and the big bang theory. Even for non physicists we were confronted with some very profound questions about the universe and the relationships between time, space and matter. We also had break-out sessions where ISL and ISBerne students worked together in small discussion groups.
