Ski Fridays

ISBerne takes advantage of its location by offering Ski & Skate Fridays!

Seven Integrated Ski & Skate Fridays

On 7 Fridays of the winter season, grade two through twelve students take part in the Ski Friday programme. The school charters a train that travels directly to the Zweisimmen resort, where students spend the day learning to ski from a Swiss certified ski instructor.  Grade 6 -12 students have the option to snowboard in lieu of skiing..

Our younger students, ELC1, Kindergarten and Grade 1, take the tram to the nearby village of Worb for ice skating lessons.

Alumni, Friends and Family Offer

If you would like to join your ISBerne student for a day of skiing, you are welcome to do so at a very reasonable cost. We have limited space available, therefore we advise you to register with the business office the week you plan to ski. This offer is open to friends and family of current ISBerne students, and Alumni.
2014 Train ticket prices are as follows:
Adults: chf 20
Children ages 7-16, alumni,
& immediate family of staff: chf 10
