The ISBerne Elementary School Curriculum

Our elementary school offers a curriculum ideally suited to the needs of our students. As an IBO authorised school we use the IBO curriculum framework to help us deliver an exciting, challenging programme. We aim to ensure that our students will have the knowledge, understanding and skills to thrive in our challenging modern world, whether they continue in an international environment or return to their home countries. Within our curriculum, the children have the opportunity to experience the richness of learning in a community made up of 47 nationalities as well as making the most of opportunities unique to Switzerland.

As a school, we are committed to developing the attributes of the IBO learner profile in all of our students. Using the six themes of the PYP, our programme of inquiry is supported by learning in Maths, English Literacy and ICT, ensuring students acquire basic skills as well as experiencing.
