The Friends of ISBerne (FOISB) was created in November 2009 as an extension of ISBerne's Parent Teacher Committee (PTC). The objective is to develop a deeper connection with the community beyond the school through social activities where ISBerne families as well as other expatriate and local families can participate. There is no membership fee or commitment to attend, only an opportunity to meet new friends and have fun.

The FOISB organizes a variety of social events during the year suitable for a wide range of ages and interests. Some events are held annually and others are arranged as opportunities develop each month. Everyone is welcome to participate and encouraged to suggest ideas for future activities.
