70's - 80's Ski Day and Lunch/Fondue

This is the last ski day of 2010 so come and get your "groove" on with outfits from the decades gone by. Download flyer/more information...
Teachers, parents, Friends of ISBerne come and join us after the races for lunch at Restaurant Gobeli at Middlestation at 12:30. The regular menu and fondue will be available. We need to know the number of people that want to order fondue in advance. Please RSVP by 17 March to ptc@isberne.ch to order the fondue. Spaces are limited so email now to reserve your spot! Don't forget to wear your 70's, 80's "gear"!!!

Water Adventure Outing, Bern Westside

When the snow melts, it's time for new activities. So let's go to Bernaqua Adventure Pool & Spa, at Bern Westside for fun in the water. Some can swim and slide in the water facilities, others can just relax in the spa. Meet us at 10:00 at the Treffpunkt at Bern Station. We will take the S51 train at 10:19. We plan to be back in Bern around 15:00, but feel free to return at your leisure. For more information on the location and the prices, please see:

Friends of ISBerne will take a trip to the Musical Theater Basel to see the original English version of Mamma Mia! Tickets for the group were ordered in December, but if you find your schedule permits, buy a ticket (www.musicaltheaterbasel.ch) and join us. The more the merrier! Join us on a guided tour of Bern to find the origin of the heraldic animal: from legend to reality. The tour will last 1h30 and will be in English. Participation is free but is limited to 20 persons, so registrations are required and will be on a first come first served basis at: friends@isberne.ch (friends@isberne.ch)

INTERNATIONAL DAY at ISBerne

The event of the year at ISBerne is fast approaching and plans are underway! Stop by the school campus during the annual International Day and visit the various country booths. Kids will enjoy the games and the ISBerne stage will have entertainment for the crowds throughout the afternoon. Be sure to sample the delicious traditional foods from each country! The day begins with the "Parade of Nations" and ends with the raffle prize drawing! ISBerne is looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Gümligen campus for this very special event!!

Weekly Power Walking
Let's keep fit after the ski season!! Starting Friday, 26 March, join us weekly for 1.5 hours of Power Walking in and around Bern. We will meet at 9:15 at the Brunnadernstrasse tram stop (G, 5 and 3).
